About The Author

Joseph Rotenberg, 67, has visited Israel over 30 times, lived in Jerusalem for several years, and attended the Hebrew University in Givat Ram as a visiting student in 1969-70 (a sojourn that provided him with lots of material for Timeless Travels). Born in New York City, he grew up on the Upper West Side and has spent more than four decades living in Teaneck, New Jersey.

He attended Jewish parochial day schools and high schools in New York City. He received a B.A. (cum laude); phi beta kappa) from Columbia College and earned two law degrees from New York University Law School.

Rotenberg practiced tax law in New York and New Jersey for six years. He is now a senior vice president for a financial firm in Paramus, N.J.

He has five children and nine grandchildren. He is Modern Orthodox and has been a member of Congregation Keter Torah in Teaneck with his wife, Barbara, for 20 years.
